Anglian Water reports record low levels of leakage and interruptions to supply
Anglian has announced its preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2016, which were picked up by Utility Week.
Anglian chief executive Peter Simpson referenced growing population, changing climate, higher customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and reductions in revenue as key challenges for the company. The fall in revenue follows the highest reduction in bills of all UK water and sewerage companies at the beginning of the current AMP6 regulatory period.
He noted that performance in leakage, pollutions and interruptions to supply was particularly pleasing, with measures for all these areas at their best ever.
i2O is proud to have played its part in helping Anglian achieve these outcomes, and looks forward to assisting it in future years as Anglian continues to drive efficiency across its business and seeks to protect customer supply in the longer-term.
