i2O appoints sales director to drive European expansion
i2O, the smart water network company, has appointed David Kenny as European sales director. David, who has almost 20 years’ experience in the UK water sector and specialises in smart water technologies, joins i2O from TaKaDu, where he was responsible for sales and business development in the UK.
Prior to TaKaDu David spent 12 years at Crowder Consulting, supporting water companies in the UK and Ireland with leakage, clean water asset management, pressure management and data analysis activities.
In his new role, David is responsible for expanding the penetration of i2O’s smart water network technologies across Europe. These include oNet, which provides water utilities with the ability to remotely control and automatically optimise their networks, and dNet, a system of affordable loggers that gathers network data relating to water demand, flow, pressure, asset condition and transients. He reports to Kevin Rutledge, i2O’s global sales director, who joined the company from Oracle in January.
