i2O sponsors Anglian Water’s WaterAid Cycle Ride
i2O, the smart water network solutions company, has been a proud supporter of WaterAid since 2015, so they are delighted to be sponsoring their client Anglian Water for the upcoming WaterAid Cycle Ride again this September.
On 14th and 15th September 2018 and the 21st and 22nd September Anglian Water, who supply water and water recycling services to over 6m domestic customers in the east of England and Hartlepool, are once again organising the event after the success of the last five years.
The riders, from Anglian Water and their partner companies, i2O included, will choose from 4 different cycle rides of up to 200 miles which have been designed to appeal to all abilities (not just for the hardened athletes!) all with the same goal: to raise money for WaterAid.
Matthew Hughes, Strategic Optimisation Manager of Anglian Water commented: “With i2O’s help last year’s cycle ride was a fantastic event enjoyed by more than 110 riders from Anglian Water and our partner companies. The event raised the terrific amount of £23,000 for WaterAid. We are planning for this year’s event to be bigger and better than ever aiming to raise over £25,000”.
Joel Hagan, CEO of i2O comments: “We are delighted to sponsor Anglian Water’s event to support WaterAid’s vision and mission to provide water, sanitation and hygiene to everyone, everywhere by 2030.”
