i2O appoints CTO with extensive smart utility network experience
i2O, the smart water network company, today announced that it has appointed Steve Wilkes as Chief Technology Officer. He joins i2O from ONZO, a provider of data analytics insight to electricity companies and brings more than 20 years of technology experience gained building smart networks within the utilities sector.
Steve will be responsible for technology development and delivering new smart water network systems incorporating i2O’s unique, patented data and network control technologies. He will work closely with Joel Hagan, i2O's Chief Executive, and Keith Hilson, its Customer Solutions Director, to help water providers improve security of supply, customer service and network efficiency.
Steve completes i2O’s senior management team, which has been strengthened in the last year by the appointments of Keith Hilson, previously Head of Leakage at South East Water, and its first Global Sales Director, Kevin Rutledge, who led Oracle’s professional services team serving utilities across the EMEA region before joining i2O.
